Ranceft -1g injection works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Disodium edetate is a fundament while Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. They are added to lower resistance and enhance the activity of ceftriaxone against bacteria that are present in our body.
